Clemson Sports Medicine
Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation is the creation of Neil Richardson, PT and Skip Hunter, PT, ATC. In 1984, Neil Richardson opened Anderson Physical Therapy and then developed seven more clinics under his direction.
Sports Plus is the entity that Skip Hunter and Neil Richardson developed to promote future expansion within the corporation while maintaining individuality within each clinic. Acting as a corporate entity of Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, our Sports Plus clinics pride themselves in their focus on Orthopedics and Sports Medicine with continued development of Athletic Training services through Sports Medicine Outreach Programs in almost every clinic.
Our Philosophy
We provide general outpatient rehabilitation services, including industrial, orthopedic, neurological, and sports medicine services via Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Athletic Training to promote optimum health and function for our patients and families. Every effort is made to schedule patients in a timely and appropriate manner according to medical necessity. By encouraging an open line of communication with physicians and other health care providers, we provide total rehabilitation for our patients and strive to assist them in achieving their maximum physical and vocational potential for independent function.
